Service description

StreamSnatcher enables direct, device‑to‑device file transfers using WebRTC data channels, facilitating encrypted communication between participants without uploading files to servers.

No account is required to initiate or receive transfers.
Files are streamed between peers and reassembled locally on the recipient’s device.
Temporary technical metadata may be processed to establish and maintain connections.

Eligibility

The service is intended for users aged 13 and older, and by using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.

User responsibilities

Comply with all applicable laws when transferring files and sharing content.
Ensure that you own or have permission to share any content you transmit.
Use up‑to‑date security software and scan files to reduce the risk of malware.
Share session links, codes, or QR codes only with intended recipients.

You are solely responsible for the content you transmit and any consequences arising from your use of the service.

Prohibited use

Transmitting illegal, harmful, infringing, or deceptive content.
Attempting to exploit security vulnerabilities or disrupt service operation.
Reverse‑engineering, scraping, or interfering with signaling or session management.
Bypassing access controls for rooms, sessions, or any restricted features.

Violations may result in immediate termination of access and may be reported where required.

Intellectual property

StreamSnatcher, including its interface, design, and underlying software, is protected by intellectual property rights, and no rights are granted except for the limited, revocable right to access and use the service as described in these terms.

You retain any rights you have in files you transfer, and StreamSnatcher does not claim ownership of your content.

License and acceptable use

Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the service solely for lawful personal or business file transfers.

Any use beyond this scope, including automated misuse or commercial exploitation that interferes with normal operation, is prohibited.

Session continuity depends on network conditions, browser capabilities, and peer availability and cannot be guaranteed.
